today was a really great day:) i got to know more of my NYP care group ppl, n the most important thing is that my 2 frens got saved!! woo!! haha.
At one CG meeting at Dave's hse, every1 was to think abt frens or relatives that he/she wants to get saved. so i thought abt Justin lor. at that time he keep 'emo' like me la(for no reason). lols. so yeah. every1 agreed in prayer that he'll get saved this 2009. n guess what? he got saved!! along with another fren we call 'Hair'. hahaXD. his actual name is Sheng Xian. lol.
Today me n my 2 frens, along with Mindy Siying & Yinlin, went for DARE service. then Yeu Mahn came late. lol. those 3 gals were jumping all the time n we guys are just standing thr during praise & worship. haha its not that i don't like it but i'm kinda abit lazy to jump. or maybe cos very long time no jump liao...haha. or even maybe i'm getting old? but my youth is restored like the eagles in Jesus's name!! (i can't believe that they even had to pull me along to run with them) haha
anyway...for those who didn't come for Arrow service today, i'll post what pastor had shared. (
those who came for service, pls tell me if anything's missing)
"Keep your heart with all diligence. For out of it spring the issues of life."-Romans 4:23 God wants us to guard our hearts from any things that are negative or bad for us, n just focus on Him.
Pastor shared that to see the blessings of God manifest, u have to believe it in ur heart. for example, believe in ur heart that God has already given u the healing, then u'll receive it. not just thinking that u have the healing but by believing it.
This believing is probably faith, which comes by hearing God's word. The more u hear the Word, the more faith comes, and u'll find that u are more confident that the promises of God are real. or this is what i feel la. lol. and eventually u will see blessings manifesting in ur life.
And having faith.....its not only abt ur faith, but also who do u believe in. believe in Jesus & that He WILL ALWAYS be with u, in u, and for u:)
When we have certain issues in our lives, God knows abt it. But He wants us to bring our issues up to Him. If u're real before God, His love would be real to u.
And know that even though u are broken-hearted & seem unuseable, God will still use u for His glory. as according to Isaiah 42:3-4. go check it urself. haha. so do not lose ur hope in the Lord.
